Lorelei Nguyen is an Associate in the Trusts & Estates practice. Her work focuses on estate planning for professionals, trust administration, and charitable foundation formation. She drafts revocable and irrevocable trust instruments, advises young-family clients on guardianship and incapacity planning, and handles the organizational and § 501(c)(3) work for new private foundations and donor-advised-fund successor entities.
Nguyen earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2020 and her A.B. from Harvard University in 2017. She joined Oak, Elm & Birch in 2020. Her practice has increasingly concentrated on the planning needs of younger high-income professionals — physicians, early-career private-fund principals, and technology founders — a client segment for which the standard trust-and-estates template is rarely quite right and for which she has developed a quieter, more annotated drafting style.
