Firm Fields Foursome at 2024 Travelers Championship Pro-Am

Cromwell, CT ·

HARTFORD, CT — 6/24/24 — Oak, Elm & Birch LLP fielded a foursome at the Travelers Championship Pro-Am on Wednesday, June 19, at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell. Managing Partner Steven Stone, Deputy Managing Partner Lance Harrington, equity partner Wallace Blackwood, and client representative Thomas Marchand of Constitution Industrial joined PGA Tour professional Sepp Straka for the morning round.

The Pro-Am is the traditional Wednesday curtain-raiser to the Travelers Championship, a PGA Tour event held annually in Cromwell since 1952 in one form or another. Proceeds from Pro-Am entries benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford and a rotating list of Connecticut charities — in 2024, more than $3.1 million was distributed to 175 nonprofits across the state.

"We do this every year because the tournament has meant a lot to Hartford for a long time, and because Hole in the Wall does work that matters," said Steven Stone, Managing Partner. "The golf is incidental. Sepp was gracious about it."

Firm attorneys and staff volunteered at a hospitality tent on Thursday and Friday of tournament week, and the firm extended an open invitation to clients and their families to attend the weekend rounds.
